The practice of protection from all kinds of evil and mischief in creation.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Khubayb (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once, on a dark night in the pouring rain, we went out in search of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We searched and found him. Then he said, (Abdullah), you recite. I said, What shall I recite? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Every morning and evening, recite Surah Qul Huwallahu Ahad, Qul Awud bi Rabbil Falaq, and Qul Awud bi Rabbil Nas three times each. Then it will be sufficient for you in all matters. (Meshkat Sharif, page 188.)
Explanation: The famous Muhaddith Hazrat Mulla Ali Qari (RA) has written in Meerkat Volume 4, page 370 that Allama Tibi (RA) said, "It will suffice in all matters"—the phrase can have two meanings:
1- This is sufficient protection against all kinds of harm from all evildoers.
2- This duty is sufficient for protection from any evil and harm, and for this purpose, there is no need to recite any other duty after this.
How many troubles and problems are Muslims facing today? Some are suffering from attacks by jinn or ghosts, some are suffering from magic cast by enemies. Some are causing harm by magic on their shops, homes, businesses, or marriages. Some are not getting customers in their shops or getting married. (Inside the house or outside)
Fear of being a victim of any kind of accident outside. For example, physical or financial loss or car-horse accident etc.) Some are constantly facing new troubles and difficulties. If we perform this duty for two-three minutes every morning and evening, then, God willing, we will definitely be protected and safe from all kinds of problems and troubles.
