Alhajj Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Azharul Islam Siddiqui (Rahimahullah) is the first person in history to present a global challenge—"The World Challenge"—to the entire world regarding the existence of Almighty Allah through his groundbreaking book “Maha-Bhabna (A Philosophy of Astronomy)”. This work has compelled even atheists around the globe to bow their heads in humility. It is an astonishing, philosophy- and science-based treatise that asserts not only the existence of Allah but also the possibility of a direct connection with Him. This monumental book contains profound discussions on the greatness of Allah based on the Qur’an, Hadith, and scientific evidence. It logically argues that a person who does not worship Allah is worse than the lowest of creatures. He was an amateur astronomer who, in 1991, authored “Maha-Bhabna” after proving the existence of Allah through space science. In recorded history, he is the only Muslim scientist who has issued a global challenge regarding the comprehension of Allah’s existence. In this unique, science-based religious masterpiece, he explores the creation of the universe through the lenses of astronomy, philosophy, physiology, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. This exceptional individual, born once in an era, was awarded two golden awards in recognition of his contributions.
The first: For his book “Maha-Bhabna”, he was awarded a golden award on March 13, 1999, by Dr. Sikandar Ali Ibrahimi Sahib, on behalf of nearly 200 doctorate holders and Muslim philosophers from around the world, recognizing it as the finest literary work of the era. A detailed report about this honor was published in the Daily Inqilab newspaper in March 1999.
The second: In recognition of “Maha-Bhabna” as the finest literary work of the era and in honor of receiving a golden award, the people of Manikganj felt a deep sense of pride. On behalf of the Citizens' Committee, former minister Colonel (Retd.) Abdul Malek Sahib awarded him a golden award in February 2000. At the event, many notable individuals were present, including his colleagues from Debendra College and the current Mayor of Manikganj Municipality, Ramzan Ali. According to Dr. Harun-ur-Rashid Sahib, a renowned Islamic thinker and researcher (Lecturer, DMC – Dhaka Medical College), “If anything can truly be called Modern Astronomy in today’s world, it is ‘Maha-Bhabna.’”
