Prayer for freedom from debt and worries
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) narrates that a man came and said, “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! I am burdened with many debts and worries.” Hazrat (ﷺ) said, “Shall I not teach you a supplication that, if you recite it, Allah will pay off all your debts and remove all your worries?” He said, “Yes, of course.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Will you recite this supplication in the morning and evening?”
Pronunciation: Allah-humma inni audhu bika minal hammi wal hujni wa audhu bika minal azhi wal Kachli, wa awud bika minal bukhli wal jubni wa awud bika min galabati dadaini wa kahri rijal.
Meaning: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and anxiety, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from being burdened with debt and facing the pressure of people. (Abu Dawud, Meshkat, page 215.)
The man said, "I started doing this in the morning and evening as per the instructions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). As a result, Allah paid off all my debts and freed me from all kinds of worries and worries."
